If you’re about to research the next level of your guards you might want to consider this trick.

1. Complete your 10/10 and 10/10 research on your guardsmen
2. Make sure your buildings (academy is the last building) are ready for the next level guardsmen
3. Make sure you have enough VP to unlock next level of guardsmen (example riders)
4. DO NOT research any of the 3 types of guardsmen

-Wait until Ragnarok begins-

1. Click on the Ragnarok tournament
2. ⁠Click “GO” to visit both Fenrir and Jormungandr
3. ⁠Don’t attack the monsters
4. !!DO NOT enter the shop!!
5. Get back to the city
6. Start your research on at least 1 of the guardsmen
7. Complete the research and reload the game

You will get better rewards based on your new level of troops BUT your personal goals will not change.

1. Always combine gems before you Disenchant them. WHY: If you have developed “Gem saving chance I-IV” in “Blacksmithing”, you have the chance of getting extra gems each time you combine them. By combining them you thus get more gems to Disenchant for free. You this DISENCHANT from the TOP.
2. Always Craft new GEMS from “Rare Flickering Dust” from the bottom and then combine them to higher level GEMS. WHY: The reason is the same: If you have developed “Gem saving chance I-IV” in “Blacksmithing”, you have the chance of getting extra gems each time you combine them. By combining them you thus get more gems for free. You thus CRAFT from the BOTTOM.
3. You can use the same principle with materials for Equipment from Ragnarök – just takes a little more planning from event to event as you max can buy 3 materials of each kind & level in one event. But if you do it, you will get some Ragnarök materials for free, when you combine.
